Brad Heidi

A teenager quitting school to pursue his dream of making it in the music industry? Such things are feature films and documentaries made of, but Galway-based singer-songwriter Brad Heidi did just that, parents’ disapproval or not. With a suitcase, an acoustic guitar, a plentiful supply of socks and underpants and a can-do/must-do attitude, Heidi travelled around the country (and the UK) busking his songs.

With his street-performing days behind him, he has spent the past while supporting the likes of former Walking on Cars songwriter Pa Sheehy, Róisín Ó, James Blunt, Gavin James and Lisa Hannigan. For some, the songs might tread too firmly on the toes of Ed Sheeran and Dermot Kennedy, but if there’s a prize for commitment then Heidi would take it.It all begins with an idea.

Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Gemma Cox

Gemma Cox is a singer-songwriter who has a unique quality to her music as she combines classic pop songwriting with her classical piano roots. She ended 2022 on a high with the release of her debut EP "Tall Stories". With these four songs, Gemma captured an intimate re-imagination of her world by carefully blending unique vocal harmonies of Imogen Heap, with the emotive lyricism of Phoebe Bridgers.

Following on from the release of her debut single “Whale on My Shoulder”, a collaboration with the Ulster Orchestra and a performance at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in 2021, Gemma has since performed at Trinity Ball, Mainstage Whelans, and has opened for incredible artists such as Soda Blonde, Emma Langford, John Doherty, I have a tribe and Calum Bowie at the Academy.

Chalk

Chalk is the three-piece project of Irish musicians and now Academy Award winning filmmakers Ross Cullen Benedict Goddard and Luke Niblock. The band was formed in 2019 after they met whilst studying film and realised they shared the same musical vision and ambitions.

The trio sprung out of the gates live, supporting London's PVA in Dublin for their first ever show, before selling out their debut hometown headline in Belfast and embarking on a UK/IRE tour starting on the 6th May. The tour included two full capacity shows as part of the First Fifty at Brighton's 'The Great Escape' Festival.
